Faeth Asia Pacific is seeking a dedicated and proactive EHS Engineer to join our team in Perai, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our workplace safety culture, ensuring that our operations meet the highest international standards. You will be responsible for spearheading health, safety, and environmental initiatives, driving compliance with ISO standards, and fostering a zero-harm environment across our factory and project sites.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about risk mitigation and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement safety protocols that protect our people, our environment, and our assets.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems in alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections across factory floors and active project sites.
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory regulations, including DOSH and DOE requirements.
- Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct EHS training programs for employees and contractors to foster a safety-first culture.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, chemical handling, and emission control.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize safety procedures and operational efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in an EHS role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial project setting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS legislation (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974).
- Registered SHO (Safety and Health Officer) with DOSH is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and managing EHS documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commitment to high standards of excellence.
