Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure continuous improvement of workplace safety conditions.
- Ensure full compliance with local environmental and safety regulations, including DOSH and DOE requirements.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Facilitate EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote safety awareness and competency.
- Manage waste disposal, chemical handling, and emission monitoring protocols in accordance with environmental standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to perform Risk Assessment and Control (HIRARC) for all new equipment and processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of working experience as an EHS Engineer or Officer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with NIOSH certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS legislation, including OSHA 1994 and EQA 1974.
- Proficient in technical reporting and conducting safety training sessions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a dynamic production setting.
