Sherwin-Williams is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EHS Environmental Officer to join our dynamic team in Klang/Port Klang. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and track scheduled waste inventory to ensure accurate categorization, proper labeling, and precise weight recording.
- Ensure strict compliance with local environmental laws and DOE regulations regarding hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and site inspections to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.
- Prepare and submit accurate environmental reports, waste disposal manifests, and regulatory filings on time.
- Collaborate with plant operations and maintenance teams to implement effective waste reduction and recycling strategies.
- Manage and maintain the EHS documentation system, including permits, licenses, and incident logs.
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety training sessions to promote a culture of environmental safety.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an EHS or Environmental Officer role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian DOE (Department of Environment) regulations and scheduled waste management procedures.
- Strong understanding of environmental management systems and sustainability best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in using EHS management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
