Are you a dedicated Safety Professional looking to make a significant impact in the high-tech PCB and semiconductor manufacturing sector? PERSOL is currently seeking a highly skilled EHS Lead to oversee environmental, health, and safety operations at our facility in Simpang Ampat, Penang.
As the EHS Lead, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert, driving safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing high-level safety protocols in a fast-paced industrial environment. We are looking for a proactive leader who understands the complexities of the semiconductor/PCB industry and possesses the necessary certification to hold a Green Book. This is a critical role that directly influences our operational excellence and employee well-being.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and procedures in alignment with local DOSH regulations and international standards.
- Lead safety committee meetings and conduct regular facility audits to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external regulatory bodies, including DOSH and DOE, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian safety legislation.
- Oversee the management of chemical safety, hazardous waste disposal, and emergency response planning for the PCB manufacturing lines.
- Coordinate and deliver specialized safety training programs to staff at all levels to foster a robust 'Safety First' culture.
- Monitor EHS performance metrics, lead incident investigations, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure the maintenance and renewal of all necessary certifications and site safety licenses.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be a certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH and a holder of a valid Green Book.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within the semiconductor or PCB manufacturing industry.
- Deep knowledge of OSH Act 1994, FMA 1967, and EQA 1974 regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proven ability to manage emergency response teams and lead internal safety audits.
