Osadi Commercial Supplies Sdn Bhd is looking for a proactive EHS Technician to join our team in Batu Kawan, Penang. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining our commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily EHS operations, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations, and managing scheduled waste processes. You will work closely with our operational teams to foster a culture of safety, identify potential hazards, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and supervise scheduled waste management activities in compliance with DOE regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure workplace safety.
- Maintain comprehensive EHS documentation, records, and reports for audit readiness.
- Assist in the implementation of safety training programs for staff and contractors.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health standards.
- Support incident investigation processes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage the proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian environmental and safety regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974).
- Experience with scheduled waste management and related reporting systems (e.g., eSWIS).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., SHO or SSS) is a distinct advantage.
