We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive EHS Technician to strengthen our Environmental, Health, and Safety operations.

You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments, deliver impactful training programmes, and drive a culture of safety excellence across our modern facility. Your expertise in chemical hygiene, waste management, and emergency response will be vital in protecting our most valuable asset—our people.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, and ISO standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard identification, and environmental monitoring (chemical exposure, noise, air quality) within the laboratory.
- Oversee the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemical and biological waste in compliance with DOE regulations.
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive EHS training sessions for all staff levels (Chemical Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, LOTO).
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations using root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
- Maintain and update critical EHS documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical inventory registers, and waste disposal records.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA) during site inspections and audits.
- Plan and execute emergency response drills (fire, chemical spill, biological spill) and evaluate team readiness.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH or possess a valid Green Book/Yellow Book certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of hands-on EHS experience, ideally within a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or chemical environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian EHS legislation (OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, FMA 1967).
- Demonstrated experience in conducting HIRARC and managing chemical safety protocols in a lab setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Certification in ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Internal Auditing is a distinct advantage.
