Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Electrical Officer in the daily maintenance and monitoring of vessel power generation and distribution systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment, motors, and lighting circuits throughout the vessel.
- Participate in the troubleshooting and repair of electronic navigation and communication systems.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for electrical maintenance tasks as per the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
- Support the engine department team during bunkering operations and port maneuvers.
- Adhere strictly to all international maritime safety, security, and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL).
- Undergo structured on-the-job training to acquire competencies required for future certification.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent maritime-related degree.
- Valid Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB).
- Complete set of updated STCW basic safety training certifications.
- Good physical health and fitness, capable of working in a demanding shipboard environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward technical learning.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for operational communication.
- Willingness to commit to long-term deployment on container vessels.
