We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Chargeman to join our maintenance team in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will be the backbone of our electrical infrastructure, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
As our Electrical Chargeman, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance of electrical systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring full compliance with the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on all electrical installations and manufacturing machinery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot electrical panels, switchboards, and distribution systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform daily inspections of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs and report technical findings to the Engineering Manager.
- Oversee installation and upgrading of electrical wiring and control systems for new or existing machinery.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure electrical systems support continuous plant operations.
- Strictly adhere to OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) guidelines and Energy Commission regulations during all tasks.
Kualifikasi
- Must possess a valid Electrical Chargeman Certificate (A0 or A1 level) issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of Single Line Diagrams and electrical safety protocols.
- Proficient in troubleshooting industrial motors, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics accurately.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and experience in LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willingness to perform shift work if required for plant operations.
