Electrical & Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our established team at Bidor Kwong Heng. As an Electrical & Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of our systems, from initial design and specification through to installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. You will work closely with various departments to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and implement cost-effective solutions. Your expertise will be vital in upholding our reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostic analysis on electronic circuits and systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, maintenance, and project goals.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with local regulations and company quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors and vendors for specialized electrical works.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, control panels, and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi).
• Proficient in engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or EPLAN.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian and international engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a diverse team.
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) or Graduate Engineer status with BEM is highly desirable.
