About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to support our facilities and critical infrastructure operations in Cebu. In this role, you will be integral to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all electrical systems, including power distribution, backup generators, UPS systems, and ancillary equipment. You will lead maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in our engineering operations. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to contribute to high-stakes infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee the maintenance of electrical systems for industrial facilities.
- Manage critical infrastructure including switchgears, transformers, and emergency power systems to ensure 100% uptime.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance schedules to guarantee system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions, failures, and safety hazards efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code and company safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility expansion, upgrades, and new projects.
- Manage electrical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor procurement, and contractor oversight.
- Develop and maintain precise technical documentation, schematics, and engineering reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, specifically in facilities or critical infrastructure.
- Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage systems, switchgears, UPS, and generators.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, power systems analysis, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to work on-site in Cebu and be available for on-call support for critical issues.
