Our client is seeking a dedicated and technically-minded Electrical Engineer to join their operations team in Kulai, Johor. As an Electrical Engineer in this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the power distribution systems that keep our data center running 24/7. You will work alongside seasoned professionals to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and maintain electrical distribution systems including switchgears, UPS, and backup generators.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to ensure 99.99% uptime of critical data center infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate with facility teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in the design and implementation of electrical infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions.
- Maintain accurate technical logs, maintenance reports, and documentation for all electrical assets.
- Ensure all site activities strictly adhere to local safety regulations and international industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC).
- Collaborate with vendors and service contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1-2 years of experience in facility management or data center operations is a plus.
- Solid understanding of power distribution units (PDU), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and cooling systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic facilities management software.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts or be available for on-call support as needed.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
