MVP Asia Pacific is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our expanding offshore team. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the estimation process for electrical projects, analyzing tender documents, and preparing comprehensive cost reports. You will work closely with our project management and engineering teams to ensure that all estimates align with client specifications and budgetary targets. This is a full-time position based in Clark Freeport Zone, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with international teams.
Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to accurately calculate material quantities and labor requirements.
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for tenders, ensuring full compliance with Australian standards and project requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze potential cost variances during the tendering phase.
- Review and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate project scopes and timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of bid packages and contract documentation for new project opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to maintain an up-to-date cost database.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimation, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in the Australian market.
- Deep knowledge of Australian construction codes, standards (AS/NZS), and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in estimation tools and software, including advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
