Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects in Penang, Malaysia. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and client specifications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and suppliers to drive project milestones, manage budgets, and maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and coordinate all MEP engineering activities from concept design through construction and commissioning.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain clear communication and expectations.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and adoption of BIM tools.
- Mentor and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP engineering or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong knowledge of cost control and scheduling.
- Familiarity with Malaysian building codes, MS standards, and international MEP best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional engineering (PE) registration or eligibility for Malaysia is an advantage.
