We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical & System Control Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated electrical control systems that drive our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-life cycle of control systems, from initial concept and design to installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop electrical control schematics, circuit diagrams, and system layouts using industry-standard software.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Conduct site surveys to assess electrical requirements and provide technical specifications for projects.
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose faults in complex electrical and control systems.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff during installation and commissioning.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical design and system control engineering.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi) and SCADA systems.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical machinery, motor control, and automation principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
