Tanggung Jawab
- Maintain and repair electrical systems on reefer vessels including refrigeration units and power distribution systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in refrigeration and cargo systems
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, IMO, and company safety regulations
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams during vessel overhauls and dry dock periods
- Train junior crew members on electrical safety protocols
- Respond to emergency electrical repairs during voyages
Kualifikasi
- Valid Electrician certification from TESDA or equivalent maritime authority
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipboard electrical systems
- Specialized knowledge in refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for electrical faults in marine environments
- Familiarity with IMO regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions
- Valid STCW certification including Basic Safety Training
- Fluency in English with technical documentation abilities
