Daikin Malaysia, a global leader in the HVAC industry, is looking for a dedicated Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Engineer to join our manufacturing excellence team in Shah Alam. As an IQC Engineer, you will serve as the first line of defense in our production lifecycle. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the IQC inspection team to ensure daily inspection targets and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement robust sampling plans and inspection procedures based on AQL standards.
- Analyze non-conforming materials (NCR) and lead the investigation into root causes using 8D or 5-Why methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement and R&D teams to evaluate new supplier capabilities and part approvals (PPAP).
- Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to drive quality improvements at the source.
- Monitor and report on IQC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as supplier defect rates and inspection lead times.
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other QC tools to monitor and analyze material quality trends.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of precision measurement equipment within the IQC department.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards; familiarity with IATF 16949 is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical inspection team.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively interact with local and international suppliers.
- Willingness to work in Shah Alam, Selangor, and travel for supplier audits when required.
