Lam Research is a global leader in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, powering the devices that connect and transform the world. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our Global Operations Group at our state-of-the-art facility in Batu Kawan, Penang.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be at the heart of our high-volume manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented technicians and operators, ensuring we meet aggressive production schedules while maintaining our uncompromising commitment to quality, safety, and cost-efficiency. A key aspect of this role is driving a culture of continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) and empowering your team to solve problems at the source.

You will work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve technical issues, optimize material flow, and implement corrective actions. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians and operators to achieve daily production goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee production schedules, workflow, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery and efficient output in a high-volume cleanroom environment.
- Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing EHS policies, conducting safety audits, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to troubleshoot process issues, manage non-conformances (NCs), and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify skills gaps, and coordinate training plans to develop a highly competent and cross-functional workforce.
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs by optimizing material usage, reducing scrap, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Prepare and present detailed operational reports on production output, quality metrics, and team performance to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering) or equivalent technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally within the semiconductor, electronics, or precision equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
