Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for high-voltage infrastructure? Power Automation Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Engineer – Protection Systems (Site Manager) to join our elite projects team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical lead on-site, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex 66/230/400KV protection and control system projects.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that our grid infrastructure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest technical standards. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in challenging site environments, manages diverse stakeholders, and possesses deep technical expertise in power system protection relays and substation automation.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of 66/230/400KV protection and control system projects at various project sites.
- Coordinate site activities, ensuring adherence to strict safety, quality, and environmental protocols.
- Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) of protection relays, control panels, and substation automation systems.
- Supervise sub-contractors and site personnel to ensure technical compliance with client specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex protection scheme issues and provide technical guidance for rectification.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, test results, and site meeting minutes.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the site execution phase.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in power system protection and control, specifically within high-voltage environments (66kV and above).
- Proven track record as a Site Manager or Site Lead on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Deep understanding of protection relay logic, relay testing equipment (e.g., Omicron, Doble), and substation automation protocols (IEC 61850).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Valid certification in relevant workplace safety and health (WSH) standards.
