This role is pivotal in bridging complex ship design requirements with commercial viability. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring that our projects meet international safety standards while maintaining strict cost-efficiency and profitability.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a blend of high-level technical expertise in naval architecture and marine engineering, coupled with a robust understanding of commercial contract management and project estimation. You will be responsible for streamlining engineering workflows, mentoring junior staff, and serving as the primary technical point of contact for high-value client projects.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the engineering department to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
- Oversee end-to-end ship design processes, ensuring compliance with classification society rules and international maritime regulations.
- Develop detailed cost estimations and technical proposals to support business development and bidding efforts.
- Manage commercial aspects of projects, including contract negotiations, budget tracking, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure engineering solutions are cost-effective and feasible for construction.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering standards, safety, and sustainable ship design practices.
- Serve as the technical lead during client consultations and project site audits.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Deep technical proficiency in ship design software (e.g., AutoCAD, AVEVA Marine, or Rhino).
- Strong commercial acumen, specifically in project costing, budgeting, and contract management.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex marine engineering projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for regional and international project engagement.
