As an Engineering Technician, you will be at the heart of maintaining the flawless operation of our luxury property. You will execute rigorous preventative maintenance programs, expertly diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, and respond to guest service needs with unwavering professionalism and courtesy. Your technical precision will directly uphold our client's legendary "Gold Standards," ensuring every guest experience is safe, comfortable, and truly exceptional.
Your daily responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive maintenance of critical building infrastructure including sophisticated HVAC systems, extensive plumbing networks, high-capacity electrical distribution, and ambient lighting controls. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated engineering team and other departments to ensure all facilities not only meet but exceed stringent safety, quality, and aesthetic benchmarks. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest maintenance requests, resolving technical issues in guest rooms, suites, and public areas with minimal disruption.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical panels, motors, pumps, boilers, chillers, and other critical plant equipment.
- Maintain detailed logs, records, and documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, and spare parts inventory.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of lighting, fixtures, furniture, and FF&E (Fixtures, Furniture & Equipment).
- Monitor and conduct routine testing of fire protection systems, life safety equipment, and emergency systems.
- Support special projects, renovations, and preventive maintenance shutdowns by providing technical expertise and labor.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in strict compliance with workplace safety regulations, environmental policies, and the property's standard operating procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Technical certification or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering).
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in building maintenance, engineering, or facilities management, ideally in a hotel, luxury residential, or high-end commercial property.
- Strong proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., Singapore Electrical License, Fire Safety Manager Certificate, Lifting Supervisor) are highly desirable.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive and organized approach to work.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays, with physical stamina for manual tasks and lifting.
