Megaworld Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a leader in real estate development, we are deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects and operations adhere strictly to local and national environmental regulations.
As the Environmental Compliance Engineer, you will act as the primary point of contact for environmental matters, overseeing the acquisition and renewal of all necessary environmental permits. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting regular site audits, monitoring waste management systems, and ensuring full compliance with DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) requirements. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed environmental reports and leading internal training sessions to promote environmental awareness among our workforce.

- Manage the end-to-end process of acquiring and renewing environmental permits and clearances from relevant government agencies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and environmental audits to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor waste management practices to ensure adherence to disposal regulations and sustainability goals.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive environmental reports, including EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) documentation, to regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with external consultants and government agencies to resolve environmental compliance issues efficiently.
- Ensure all construction and operational activities align with environmental laws, such as the Clean Air Act and Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, or regulatory affairs within the real estate or construction industry.
- Deep understanding of Philippine environmental laws, DENR regulations, and local government ordinances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and regulatory codes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and liaising with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using environmental management software and MS Office applications.
