Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and submit comprehensive environmental impact assessment (EIA) reports and technical documentation to relevant regulatory authorities.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental laws.
- Coordinate effectively with government bodies, including the Department of Environment (DOE) and SIRIM, to facilitate approvals and certifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain waste management strategies and pollution control measures for industrial projects.
- Analyze environmental data and prepare detailed technical summaries to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and updating of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and clients regarding environmental compliance issues.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
- Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly desirable for this position.
- Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in environmental consulting, engineering, or a related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations, including the Environmental Quality Act and waste management guidelines.
- Proficiency in using environmental monitoring software and standard office productivity tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites within Sabah.
