Chiat Hin Envelope Manufacturer Sdn Bhd, a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team in Seberang Perai, Penang. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of environmental protection, health, and safety. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with local regulations and international standards, managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, and implementing effective waste management and safety programs.
Your key responsibilities include conducting regular audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards, and developing risk mitigation strategies. You will coordinate training sessions for employees at all levels to promote awareness and adherence to EHS policies. Additionally, you will lead incident investigations, track key performance indicators, and prepare reports for regulatory bodies and management.
We are looking for a proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and proven experience in EHS coordination within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of local environmental and safety laws, as well as ISO standards, is essential. Certification from NIOSH or DOSH will be an advantage.

- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Manage and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Develop, implement, and monitor waste management programs.
- Conduct regular workplace audits and inspections.
- Organize and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and maintain documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety through continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation.
- Certification in EHS (NIOSH, DOSH) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
