Join M&J Supply Chain Services Sdn Bhd as our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Senior Engineer and take the lead in shaping a world-class safety culture within our dynamic supply chain operations in Johor Bahru. In this pivotal role, you will be the steward of our EHS framework, ensuring full compliance while driving continuous improvement across all sites.
Reporting to the management team and collaborating closely with our headquarters in China, you will develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting rigorous inspections and audits, investigating incidents, managing scheduled waste, and delivering impactful training. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations (DOSH, DOE, NIOSH).
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing robust preventive measures.
- Manage the scheduling, collection, classification, and disposal of industrial waste in accordance with DOE regulations.
- Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and management to foster a strong safety culture.
- Oversee the management of EHS documentation, records, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaise closely with the China headquarters on EHS strategies, performance metrics, and global best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities during external inspections and audits.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in an EHS role, preferably within the logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain industry.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with NIOSH / DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder) is highly preferred.
- Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAT) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations, including OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and internal auditing processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively liaise with counterparts in China HQ.
