Sambu Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Manager to oversee our environmental operations in Indragiri Hilir, Riau. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing all operational activities related to environmental sustainability, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards, and driving our commitment to a greener future. As a key member of our technical team, you will bridge the gap between operational execution and environmental stewardship.
The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS), conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with Indonesian environmental laws, and identify areas for continuous improvement in waste management and pollution control. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate environmental risks and opportunities to stakeholders while fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Environmental Management Systems (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001 standards.
- Ensure full compliance with local environmental regulations, including waste disposal permits and emission standards in Riau.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and site inspections to identify potential risks and operational inefficiencies.
- Lead the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper disposal and recycling protocols are followed.
- Coordinate with external agencies and government bodies regarding environmental reporting and compliance reviews.
- Train and mentor staff on environmental best practices and safety protocols to minimize ecological impact.
- Analyze environmental data and prepare detailed reports for senior management to support decision-making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in environmental management, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental laws, regulations, and local government guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in environmental management software and data analysis tools.
- Valid certifications in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) are highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
