Morgan McKinley is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Manager to join our Global Team, specializing in large-scale subsea and fiber optic infrastructure projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainable operations for complex subsea cable installations across the region.
You will work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure all project activities align with international environmental regulations and internal corporate sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of marine conservation, environmental impact assessments (EIA), and the specific regulatory landscape governing subsea operations in Singapore and beyond. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead environmental impact assessments (EIA) for subsea fiber optic cable laying and landing operations.
- Develop and implement robust Environmental Management Plans (EMP) to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular site audits and marine environment monitoring to mitigate risks to local ecosystems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for government environmental agencies and project stakeholders.
- Manage environmental permitting processes and ensure all documentation meets stringent legal standards.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on sustainable construction methods and pollution prevention.
- Analyze project data to optimize operational efficiency while minimizing the environmental footprint.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the subsea, offshore, or telecommunications sector.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and Singaporean environmental laws.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex permitting cycles for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in GIS software and environmental modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven track record of maintaining high safety and environmental standards in high-pressure project environments.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., EMS Auditor, NEBOSH) are highly advantageous.
