Winstar Aluminium Manufacturing is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Officer to join our team in Ijok, Selangor. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing processes align with strict environmental standards and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the organization and implementation of safety activities to foster a culture of awareness, risk control, and preventive measures across the facility. Tanggung Jawab
- Organize and implement comprehensive safety activities to enhance environmental awareness across the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential environmental hazards and implement effective preventive measures.
- Monitor and ensure strict compliance with local environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Develop and execute environmental management plans, including waste disposal, pollution control, and resource conservation.
- Prepare and maintain detailed environmental reports, audit records, and compliance documentation for regulatory bodies.
- Train employees on environmental safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and sustainable practices.
- Coordinate with external agencies and internal departments to address environmental issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in the manufacturing, mining, or resources sector, specifically in an environmental or HSE role.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian environmental legislation and industrial safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and guide staff.
- Proficiency in using EHS software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and handle physical tasks when necessary.
