VDL ETG is seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Assembly Specialist to join our team on a 1-year contract (renewable). You will be responsible for the assembly of complex modules and systems, playing a crucial role in our manufacturing and engineering processes. This position involves working with device enclosures, panels, racks, and providing comprehensive box-build services to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team to interpret technical specifications and execute assembly tasks with precision. We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic production environment in Joo Koon.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform assembly of complex electronic and mechanical modules, including device enclosures, panels, and racks.
- Execute box-build services, ensuring secure wiring, soldering, and connector assembly.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) to ensure accurate assembly.
- Conduct routine quality checks and functional testing of assembled units before final handover.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict safety and 5S workplace management protocols.
- Document assembly processes and report any defects or irregularities to the team lead immediately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest process improvements.
- Operate and maintain standard assembly tools and testing equipment.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electronics assembly, box-build, or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong ability to read and understand engineering schematics and technical instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering irons, and basic testing instruments (e.g., multimeters).
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in a manufacturing setting.
