We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Engineer to join Cosmx Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our manufacturing infrastructure. You will act as the technical authority for our production machinery, working closely with the operations team to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a proven track record in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. You will be involved in preventive maintenance schedules, root cause analysis of equipment failures, and the implementation of continuous improvement projects. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment failures using technical schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Monitor equipment performance data and analyze trends to predict potential failures and schedule maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement equipment upgrades and modifications that improve production efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with company safety standards, ISO regulations, and environmental policies.
- Document all maintenance activities, create technical reports, and update equipment logs in the management system.
- Train junior staff and operators on proper equipment handling and safety procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an equipment engineering or maintenance role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and automation basics.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and using CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
