Right Recruit is seeking an experienced Equipment Manager (Plastic Molding Machine) to oversee the maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of our plastic injection molding operations in the North Region of Singapore. In this senior role, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving operational excellence through strategic planning and leadership.
You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams, and implement bestâinâclass maintenance practices to support highâvolume manufacturing. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in injection molding machinery and PLC controls with strong leadership and problemâsolving abilities.
Key focus areas include:
- Proactive maintenance and reliability programs for plastic injection molding machines.
- PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Strategic planning of equipment capacity, budgeting, and spareâparts management.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of plastic injection molding machines, PLCs, and auxiliary equipment.
- Manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control system faults to minimize downtime.
- Plan and execute equipment upgrades, modifications, and new machine installations.
- Implement continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma) to boost OEE and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with production and quality departments to schedule maintenance windows and ensure product quality.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, spareâparts inventory, and budget tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO standards, and environmental guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management for plastic injection molding equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, AllenâBradley) and industrial automation.
- Proven track record in leading teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with rootâcause analysis, FMEA, and reliabilityâcentered maintenance.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) for maintenance planning.
- Ability to manage budgets, spareâparts procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of Singapore safety and environmental standards is advantageous.
