Komatsu East Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a trusted authorized dealer of Komatsu, Bomag, and LS heavy equipment in East Malaysia, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Equipment Sales Officer to join our team in Sandakan, Sabah. As part of the world-renowned Komatsu Group, you will represent a brand known for quality, innovation, and reliability in heavy machinery. Our clients span the construction, mining, plantation, and agricultural sectors across Sabah.

In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and after-sales support. You will engage with potential buyers, understand their operational needs, arrange and conduct equipment demonstrations, prepare accurate quotations and proposals, and negotiate terms. Building long-term client relationships based on trust and technical knowledge is a cornerstone of this position. You will also coordinate with the service and parts teams to ensure timely delivery, maintenance, and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or related fields. Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia are required. The successful candidate will be target-driven, highly organized, and willing to travel extensively within the Sandakan region and occasionally to other parts of Sabah. A valid driver's license is a must.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) database.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for equipment delivery and after-sales support.
  • Participate in trade shows and marketing events to promote Komatsu products.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth areas.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in heavy equipment or machinery.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  • Results-oriented with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel extensively within Sabah.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment industry is an added advantage.
