Our client, a prominent leader in the advanced manufacturing sector, is urgently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Equipment Senior Technician (Shift) to join their expanding team in Rawang, Selangor. This is a pivotal role for an experienced technician who is ready to take full ownership of equipment reliability and performance on the shop floor.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of sophisticated production equipment and automated systems. You will be the primary technical expert during your shift, diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults to minimize production downtime. A key part of your role will be developing and executing a robust preventative maintenance schedule, conducting root cause analysis on recurring issues, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
You will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Production teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and operational efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Serve as the primary technical resource for shift operations, providing rapid response to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance program for all critical assets.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Partner with the engineering team on equipment upgrades, new installations, and process optimization projects.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, spare parts inventory levels, and shift handover reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Mentor and train junior technicians to build team capability and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Equipment Technician or Senior Technician in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley) and SCADA systems is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of servo drives, sensors, VFDs, and industrial automation components.
- Proven ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings with precision.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP PM or Maximo.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Willing and able to work on rotational 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
