Are you passionate about quality assurance and electronics manufacturing? Fastrain is seeking a dedicated ESD Technician to join our team in Perai, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our production lines meet the highest standards of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) compliance. Your work will directly impact the safety and stability of our manufacturing operations by implementing rigorous audits, inspections, and system verifications. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who understands the critical nature of static control in modern electronics.
As an ESD Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a static-safe environment. This includes performing daily inspections on workstations, monitoring grounding systems, and ensuring ionizers are functioning correctly. You will also be tasked with training staff on proper ESD handling procedures and investigating any non-compliance issues to prevent costly product defects. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular ESD compliance audits and inspections across manufacturing zones.
- Maintain and verify ESD control systems, including grounding straps, wrist straps, and ionizers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on ESD equipment and reporting malfunctions.
- Monitor and control environmental factors such as humidity and temperature in ESD-safe areas.
- Train employees on ESD safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Investigate and report non-compliance issues to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Ensure all documentation and test results are accurately recorded and up to date.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of ESD control standards (e.g., ANSI/ESD S20.20).
- Experience with ESD testing equipment and measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment with strict safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and the ability to train others effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
