We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator (Body & Paint Panel Workshop) to join our team in Ampang, Selangor. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for vehicle repair costs including parts and labour for body and paint work.
- Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Liaise with customers, insurance adjusters, and repair technicians to ensure estimates align with scope of work.
- Order necessary parts and materials, ensuring timely delivery to meet repair schedules.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, job orders, and customer communications.
- Review and adjust estimates as needed based on additional findings during repair process.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in an auto body repair workshop, specifically in body and paint panel work.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle structures, repair procedures, and materials.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant certification or diploma in automotive technology or related field preferred.
- Valid driving license may be required.
