- Analyze project specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for interior design projects
- Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment requirements with precision
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and quotations for client approval
- Collaborate with design teams to align estimates with project aesthetics and functionality
- Research current market prices for materials, furniture, and finishes
- Monitor project budgets and provide variance analysis throughout execution
- Maintain updated cost databases and estimating methodologies
- Present cost reports to stakeholders with clear justifications and recommendations
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimation for interior projects
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) and design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to mathematical accuracy
- Knowledge of local building codes and material specifications
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Portfolio demonstrating cost estimation experience is preferred
