In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates to ensure the financial success of our engineering endeavors.
We are looking for a proactive professional who can bridge the gap between technical engineering data and financial planning. As an Estimator, you will support our project managers in forecasting budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that all engineering projects are delivered within financial constraints. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and material needs.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare and submit detailed estimates and bids to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop accurate project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project costs during execution and identify variances to recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain and update the company's cost database with current market rates and pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible pricing for materials and services.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and estimating software (e.g., Sage 300, ProEst, Bluebeam).
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse teams.
- Valid driver's license is required for local travel.
