Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and execute daily air cargo space planning and allocation to maximize load factors and cost efficiency.
- Engage directly with commercial air carriers and partners to negotiate spot rates, block space agreements (BSA), and ad-hoc capacity.
- Monitor market trends, capacity fluctuations, and carrier performance to proactively adjust procurement strategies.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, including customer service and sales teams, to support pricing inquiries and space confirmation.
- Ensure compliance with international aviation regulations, safety standards, and internal DHL procurement guidelines.
- Resolve operational discrepancies, delays, or offloads in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capacity utilization, lane profitability, and carrier spend.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in air freight operations, capacity booking, or procurement within freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of air cargo operations, carrier dynamics, airline networks, and pricing structures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong carrier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and freight management systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; command of Bahasa Malaysia or other languages is an added advantage.
