Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and manage the global inventory of shipping containers, ensuring optimal stock levels and availability to meet operational demands across various regions.
- Track and control the movement of containers (empty and laden) through various systems, depots, and terminals to optimize utilization and minimize costs.
- Coordinate proactively with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Commercial, Vessel Planning) and external stakeholders (e.g., depots, terminals, hauliers, port authorities).
- Analyze equipment utilization data, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable strategies for improved allocation, repositioning, and cost reduction.
- Handle equipment-related inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues such as damages, shortages, or delays in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, international shipping regulations, and safety standards pertaining to equipment control and cargo handling.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on equipment status, utilization rates, forecasts, and operational performance for management review and strategic planning.
- Support forecasting activities related to equipment demand and supply, contributing to proactive fleet management decisions.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in equipment control, container management, or operations within the shipping or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a meticulous attention to detail, capable of interpreting complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders across cultures.
- Proficiency in using shipping management systems, ERP software (e.g., SAP), and advanced Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-pressure, and constantly evolving global environment.
- Solid understanding of global shipping routes, port operations, container types, and international maritime regulations.
- Problem-solving mindset with the capability to make sound decisions under pressure.
