Join Ann Joo's dynamic procurement team as an Executive – General Procurement and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage indirect procurement of general, mechanical, and electrical products and services while ensuring cost-efficiency and quality standards across all vendor relationships. You'll collaborate with cross-functional departments to source strategic materials, negotiate favorable contracts, and implement sustainable procurement practices that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, mitigate supply chain risks, and contribute to our commitment to operational excellence in Malaysia's industrial landscape.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for general, mechanical, and electrical products/services
- Conduct market research and vendor analysis to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize pricing and terms
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sustainability standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to align procurement strategies with production needs
- Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain robust vendor relationships through regular communication and performance reviews
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong negotiation skills with proven track record of cost reduction
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software (SAP preferred)
- CIPS certification or equivalent procurement qualification advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
