We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Executive Pastry Chef to lead our culinary team in Johor Bahru. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and curate seasonal dessert menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary vision and guest preferences.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the pastry kitchen team to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and cleaning schedules.
- Manage inventory levels, perform stock checks, and control food costs to minimize waste.
- Maintain strict compliance with HACCP standards, hygiene regulations, and safety protocols.
- Create intricate and visually stunning pastries, chocolates, and confections for daily service and special events.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Front of House team to ensure seamless service.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior pastry role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse kitchen team effectively.
- Expert knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, sugar art, and cake decoration.
- Proven ability to create recipes, control costs, and manage inventory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid food handling and hygiene certifications (e.g., F&B Hygiene Certificate).
