The Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive, Procurement (Sourcing Buyer) to join our growing team in Sepang, Selangor. In this critical role, you will support our strategic procurement function, reporting directly to senior leadership. Your key responsibilities will encompass conducting in-depth market research to identify new suppliers and trends, analysing complex spend data to unlock cost-saving opportunities, and managing strategic supplier engagements.
You will be involved in the entire sourcing lifecycle, from preparing requests for quotation/proposal (RFQ/RFP) to evaluating supplier capabilities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal performance. This role provides a fantastic platform for a focused professional to develop deep expertise in strategic sourcing within a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and R&D to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, and selection.
- Analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiencies.
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Support contract negotiations, terms, and conditions with guidance from strategic procurement leadership.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; additional languages are a plus.
