We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Executive, Purchasing to join our supply chain team. In this critical role, you will oversee the procurement of materials and services required to support our production operations and global manufacturing targets. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete purchasing cycle using SAP, ensuring materials are available to meet production demands while optimizing costs and supplier performance.
Leveraging your strong negotiation skills and supply chain expertise, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement strategies with business objectives. You will manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities to contribute to the company's bottom line.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage procurement of direct and indirect materials based on MRP demand signals and production schedules using the SAP MM module.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in alignment with company policies and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost reduction targets and favorable payment terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve discrepancies and quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels and reduce excess/obsolete stock.
- Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and KPIs for management review.
- Support internal teams by providing accurate cost analysis and lead times for project planning.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with the SAP MM module is non-negotiable.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, international trade, and import/export documentation.
- Results-oriented with strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
