- Prepare and serve a consistent range of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks.
- Operate, maintain, and clean espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment daily.
- Accurately dial in espresso shots, adjust grind settings, and manage extraction times to ensure optimal flavor.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders, processing payments, and providing product recommendations.
- Execute beautiful latte art consistently, showcasing skill and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workstation and seating area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage coffee bean inventory, ensuring fresh stock and proper storage, and assist with ordering supplies.
- Educate customers on various coffee beans, origins, brewing methods, and menu items.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional barista experience in a reputable café or hospitality setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in coffee fundamentals, including bean origins, roasting levels, and various brewing techniques.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting commercial espresso machines and grinders.
- Advanced latte art skills with a portfolio or demonstration capability.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
