Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and guest preferences.
  • Ensure high standards of food presentation and taste are consistently met.
  • Manage mise en place effectively, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and ready for service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures within the kitchen.
  • Contribute to daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, dishwashing, and general upkeep.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Cook, Commis Chef, or Cook Helper in a hotel or reputable restaurant setting.
  • Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP principles).
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a valuable member of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Formal culinary training or a relevant vocational certificate is a significant advantage.
