Are you an experienced Facility Management Engineer looking for a challenging opportunity to oversee critical infrastructure? Farben Information (Singapore) Pte Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated professional to manage the operation, maintenance, and risk management of our IDC (Internet Data Center) MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) infrastructure. This is a key role ensuring the reliability and safety of our facility operations.
In this position, you will be responsible for the end-to-day lifecycle of facility systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You will work closely with the operations team to implement preventive maintenance schedules and respond to emergencies effectively. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of IDC MEP infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and fire safety systems.
- Implement comprehensive risk management strategies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards.
- Conduct regular facility inspections, audits, and preventive maintenance checks to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Manage service contracts and coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Monitor energy consumption and optimize facility systems to ensure cost-efficiency and environmental sustainability.
- Ensure all facility documentation, including P&ID diagrams and maintenance logs, is up-to-date and accurate.
- Respond to emergency calls and technical breakdowns, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal service disruption.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Facility Management, preferably within an IDC or data center environment.
- Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, including chilled water systems, UPS, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Relevant certifications such as BCA, NABERS, or equivalent engineering licenses are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and respond to critical incidents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Ability to work flexibly, including rotating shifts if required, to ensure 24/7 facility coverage.
