We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Factory Operations Manager to join a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless integration and high-performance operation of our cleanroom environments and facility utility systems.
The successful candidate will lead a technical team to maintain mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime for production lines while adhering to stringent safety and environmental regulations. You will play a key role in annual budget planning, capital expenditure management, and the optimization of utility consumption to drive cost-efficiencies. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of semiconductor cleanroom environments and facility utility systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for critical equipment.
- Manage the lifecycle and regulatory compliance of specialized semiconductor equipment (e.g., gas cabinets, vacuum systems, chillers).
- Prepare and manage the annual facility operations budget, identifying areas for cost optimization and energy savings.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting for system interruptions to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support equipment upgrades and facility expansions.
- Ensure full compliance with local safety (DOSH/NIOSH) and environmental regulations within the plant.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facility operations or plant maintenance, preferably within the semiconductor or wafer fabrication industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cleanroom protocols, HVAC systems, and facility power distribution.
- Proven track record in managing technical budgets and CAPEX projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing specialized technical personnel and external contractors.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex system data and technical schematics.
- Professional certification in Facility Management or related specialized technical fields is a strong advantage.
