Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Japanese language curricula for undergraduate students.
- Create engaging lesson plans covering reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills (JLPT preparation focus).
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in the field of Japanese language or linguistics.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their professional and language development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and faculty development programs.
- Design and administer assessments, ensuring constructive feedback for student growth.
- Organize or facilitate cultural exchange activities and workshops related to Japanese traditions and contemporary society.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Japanese Language, Linguistics, or Foreign Language Studies preferred; Master’s degree holders with significant experience will be considered.
- Proven proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2 certification is highly preferred).
- Strong command of English for instructional purposes.
- Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting.
- Strong background in research and academic writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
