Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Manila is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Faculty Member specializing in the Spanish Language to join our esteemed Department of Languages. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in curriculum delivery, student mentorship, and scholarly research. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish language instruction for undergraduate students.
- Develop and update syllabi to align with current international language learning standards and LPU’s academic policies.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly articles, and participate in academic conferences to contribute to the field of Spanish studies.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, language proficiency goals, and career opportunities.
- Assess student performance through examinations, presentations, and creative projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance the language curriculum and organize cultural immersion activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
Kualifikasi
- A PhD degree in Spanish Language, Hispanic Literature, Linguistics, or a closely related field.
- Proven excellence in teaching Spanish at the tertiary level.
- Native or near-native fluency in both written and spoken Spanish.
- Strong background in language pedagogy and modern classroom technology.
- Demonstrated record of research and academic contribution in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse student groups.
