Tanggung Jawab
- Perform precision fiber optic cable splicing using fusion and mechanical techniques
- Conduct on-site testing and quality validation of spliced connections
- Operate specialized equipment including OTDR, splicers, and optical power meters
- Document splicing activities with detailed technical reports
- Adhere to safety protocols and telecommunications industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues in field environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams for network deployment projects
- Maintain equipment calibration and optimal working conditions
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years of fiber optic splicing experience in telecommunications
- Industry certifications in fiber optics (e.g., CFOT, CFOS/T) preferred
- Proficiency with fusion splicing machines and testing equipment
- Strong understanding of fiber optic cable types and network architectures
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and engineering drawings
- Physical capability to work in elevated/awkward positions
- Valid driver's license for field mobility
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
