Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and supply chain transparency? Koltiva is seeking a dedicated Field Agent to join our team in Batang Toru. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data integrity efforts, ensuring that farm-level data is accurately captured, verified, and managed within our Internal Control System (ICS).
You will work directly with smallholder farmers, providing guidance on sustainable practices while conducting rigorous data verification. This is a vital position that directly impacts our mission to create traceable and ethical supply chains. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan and execute field visit schedules to targeted farmers and farm locations.
- Conduct on-site verification of farm data and ensure alignment with ICS standards.
- Provide training and guidance to farmers regarding sustainable farming practices and digital documentation.
- Collect and upload accurate farm-level data into Koltiva's proprietary software platforms.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in farm data during site visits.
- Maintain positive relationships with local farmer groups and community stakeholders.
- Prepare regular field reports detailing progress, challenges, and data quality metrics.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Forestry, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in field operations, agricultural extension, or data collection.
- Proficiency in using mobile-based data collection tools and GPS devices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with rural communities.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in remote field settings.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Batang Toru region.
- Fluency in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is mandatory; knowledge of local dialects is a significant advantage.
